  1. This is interesting. When you say canonical, do you mean as part of the 
  2. IMAP standard so that all implementations should be able to deal with the 
  3. heirarchy or is this for particular drivers?  Seems like doing it for 
  4. particular drivers could lead to interoperbility problems, though I 
  5. certainly see it as desirable.
